Week 3: Unfortunate Lack of Progress

I was planning on catching up and actually getting off the plateau this week, but instead I made pretty much no progress and well, here we are. Instead of sharing what I did this week, I will share what I hope to accomplish over the next week! 

My immediate goal is to get off the plateau and begin working towards beating the game, meaning I should probably make progress towards one of the four divine beasts since I don't trust myself to beat the final boss without their help. I will likely rush as quickly as possible towards the divine beast Vah Ruta in the Lanayru region of the map as I find it to be one of the simplest to beat and has a great bonus of reviving you upon death which I will definitely need against the more difficult master mode enemies.

The Lanayru region is one of my favorites in the game and is always quite fun to traverse. Towering rocks and ice pillars surround a violent river that flows to the center of the island and the constant rain adds even more to the atmosphere, although it does make it quite difficult to climb. While travelling through this area I will also be completing lots more shrines to increase my health as well as get better weapons and armor.

Beating an entire divine beast for my next post would be an easily achievable goal if playing on regular difficulty, but given the challenge that master mode has presented so far, it may take far longer than I hope. How's it going guys, welcome to my blog! Throughout the next 7 weeks I will be trying to beat Breath of the Wild: Master Mode for the first time. Week 5: Goals for Next Week

Unfortunately, this week I was not able to make any progress in my BoTW master mode playthrough, but I still have some goals that I would like to set for myself for Week 6. If I have any hope of actually completing the game I need to get through the 3 remaining divine beasts in the next two weeks so that the final boss fight becomes a bit easier and I will have access to the abilities completing each beast grants you. I will likely start with the divine beast Vah Medoh as it is not a very difficult beast and its updraft ability that can be used to glide across the map is extremely useful for travelling long distances and completing the other beasts.  Divine Beast Vah Medoh The remaining two divine beasts after I have completed Vah Medoh are divine beast Vah Rudania and divine beast Vah Naboris. Week 7: Final Post and Recap

 This will be the final post in my Breath of the Wild Master Mode series and I will be using it to recap my experience playing the game over the past couple months as well as give recommendations for people who may want to try Master Mode or just Breath of the Wild in general.  The first experience I had playing Breath of the Wild Master Mode was shortly after my first blog post explaining what I would be doing. The first few hours of content were probably the most difficult I encountered during the entire time I spent playing. At the very beginning of the game you have no armor or health and the weapons you get are not strong enough to reasonably take on more than one enemy at once. This presents several challenges as the leveled up Master Mode enemies are able to kill you in one hit and often appear in groups.
